Well, I grew up outside of Atlanta.  So "Westminster" won't help you  
much, I'm afraid.  I only moved to St. Louis in 2000.  Do you still  
live here?

I grew up on Heinlein too.  Libertarianism didn't stick, but the idea  
that a person *ought* to be competent at a broad range of things  
certainly did.
