You very well know that I believe the inhumi are connected somehow to
the liannas. But the green man does not look like a Neighbor. I'm not
absolutely certain that a Neighbor could even be captured by the
Severian's people. Drawing a connection between the Neighbors and the
green man has as many problems as equating Urth and Green. Let's not buy
trouble for ourselves.

Yes, but not _necessarily_ a relic of Urth. Green and Urth could be same
but Green could be at the same point in the renewal cycle that Urth is
in Silk's time. I'm not talking about a mantanvara. I'm talking about
something like Green-->Earth-->Urth-->Ushas. Both Green and Urth are on
the verge of a renewal.
