Well, if someone could come up with an integrated chronology for all of
Gerry Anderson's stuff, it stands to reason that it will be very
difficult to prove anything about the evolution of GW's conception of
the Sun universe. I don't find it strange that SS is different from LS
and both very different from NS, I'd just like to understand why, though
there may be no ultimate reason for it.

Good point, but then again Severian's not omniscient either.
