When you're done I'll tell you my Latro theory.  I agree, you can't really spoil it, though you can spoil certain key scenes the first time through (oh yeah, don't worry too much about all these people, 'cuz a flood will wipe them all out :) ) I think that would spoil it a bit, though eschatology and genesis more than hints at it on a second read through.
