I would not say so.
I sat in on a Wolfe Q&A discussion in which someone said, "...and after
all, Typhon was on the Whorl as Pas, in a way." Wolfe adamantly
corrected him, "Not 'in a way', he _was_ on the Whorl."
Well, what was transferable from Typhon to Pas was what would be
contained Horn's living body: His memories and his sense of identity. If
Typhon was every bit on the Whorl as Pas then Horn was entirely there as
the resurrected Horn 100%. And if a body in dream-travel is to be
thought of as "all there", then the spirit of the resurrected Horn (the
Neighbor) is 100% there too.
So the resurrected Horn is 100% human, 100% Neighbor.
I have more to say about this in the rest of my answer to Gerry and Roy.
