I wouldn’t call Yesod beyond the history of Briah, but outside it.

To be in Yesod is to be in the upper circle of the theatre - ‘the
Gods’, appropriately enough - and Briah is the play that is taking
place down below. The play hasn’t got to the bit where Severian and
his friends are born yet.
