Well I have just seen an advertisement for the ballet _Ondine_, the tale 
of a water nymph who is the object of desire of a young prince named 
Palemon.  Presumably the name Palemon was chosen by the writers of the 
ballet (it is not the same as in the novella) because of the watery 
associations.  How about Juturna x Palaemon -> Baldanders ;)  The point of 
undines is they often choose or are obliged to marry a mortal man and have 
one child with him.
