 From what I can tell of Wolfe from his writings and interviews, he  
doesn't think very highly of pacifism, and I suspect his God favors  
justice over mercy.  His Redeemer may not.  I think Wolfe may believe  
that a good Flood to drown the unrighteous every so often isn't a bad  
idea.
