(urth) Father Inire and SF loathing

I've found that I have no hate in my heart for any
SF/fantasy writers (though there's plenty I have no
desire to read). It's all reserved for "literary"
fiction writers who pretend to something that SF is
fortunately not burdened with- SIGNIFICANCE (note the
caps). It's pretence that sickens me, not bad writing.
But, back to Wolfe:

That's an excellent question. Up until your posts I
suppose I was of the bent that Inire was mostly an
offstage character. I feel certain that he his the
medicine man who guides Sev and the ascians and I also
believe he is the "naked one" in the tale of fish and
frog. Hidden once, hidden twice, hidden x times, okay,
but you still haven't quite sold me. I'm listening
though.
