As I recall, Galatea "created" a stone woman, but he did not love a stone woman. Nor did he give birth to her or even pull her out of his forehead. Rather, he was granted a wish. Venus created her as a woman, and it was this unrelated being that Galatea loved.<br><br>So I don't see how that could be said, though Galatea's neighbors might well have wondered. But men and women already exist in the universe and these two people fit neatly into those categories.<br><br>Still, the idea of making something sentient and then, er, "loving" it does sound creepy. A better example might be a wizard or a guy with a cloning kit. In which case, incest would be a somewhat abstract but applicable
