Dan Simmons I think can be quite good - but more on the level of Tim Powers than
Wolfe.

<DIV>_Hyperion_ and _The Fall of Hyperion_ are very good (there were two more in
the series that were a lot weaker IMO) and I think they might appeal to Wolfe
fans.</DIV>
