"psi" is a fancy word for magic.<BR><BR>Psi is SF terminology to indicate that
certain powers arise from physical causes rather than magic. It is on
occasion used to put a thin veneer of SF on a story that might as well be about
magic, but in itself it is not a word for magic.</DIV></DIV>
