don’t have any strong feelings about the matter – I just think that IF Severian
has a twin sister and IF she is a character, Merryn seems most likely.
Because she’s a witch, yes. Then again, there’s no obvious reason for a
name change (possible absence of a given name is IMO the only plausible argument
for Jolenta).</DIV></DIV>
