At the outset of this argument I mentioned in passing that the Problem of Evil doesn't have a satisfying solution. It's just that it's not the immediate problem at hand when we're talking about the Hierogrammates, who aren't gods or even angels. It's perfectly reasonable that they'd commit an evil act.<br>
