<P>This has generated a fair amount of speculation. I'd like to take a shot at it too. I missed any reasonable meaning the first couple times I read this and only the questions in this forum have set any neurons in my mind clicking in re. The thing that is hidden from all of us is Death. Grengarm's opening its mouth brought Able face to face with either his own mortality, what lies on the other side of the veil, or both.
