Like the fable of the Fox and the Grapes there is the maxim that the 
Grass is always greener on the other side of the Fence. Both relate to 
the ways in which the mechanisms of desire subvert rationality. (/Sour 
Grapes/ by Jon Elster) These are common to all men including the 
politically correct, who may think otherwise from the height of their 
moral elevation.
