(urth) Short Sun notes: Remora

I remember the fond days when I would bounce my ideas off Gene and he would write me return letters on the back pages of his original short sun manuscript.  He is a lover of games.
After the Green is Urth debacle he stopped answering my questions, but every great once in a while he will make a comment.  When I discovered Peter Palmer was an actor who played Lil Abner born in 1931 and that the history of the word oaf implies an elfin changeling, and that this accounted for the missing 3 years in our characters lives, Gene only replied, I always loved 'Lil Abner.  What a wonderful man.
