The real expression is "Forewarned is forearmed." "Forearmed" means "armed in advance" and is hardly ever used outside this proverb. I was making a joke--a man with four arms is worth two men, as in the Portuguese proverb. (This leads us to Marc's ideas about the doubling of limbs on Blue and Green.)
