Chip Delany?  I was just about to say something about how the SF author that avoids objectifying women has a very good ingrained reason NOT to objectify them, but Delany will always be about that slightly vulnerable but very sexually liberated young male hero/outcast.  Funny you mentioned his name.  Trying to think about his female characters now.
