I have only read *The Anubis Gates, *but hope to read more by Powers soon.
*The Anubis Gates* is one of the best time-travel novels I have read; he
really takes pains to make sure the story is well constructed, and that
paradoxes aren't left hanging or resolved cheaply. *Last Call* is supposed
to be one of his best, but I haven't read it yet.
