One can imagine Dorcas and Casdoe being sisters even though their names
don't quite match.
Also, IIRC Fechin was known as a precocious talent. This doesn't mean he
stayed one through his life---he could well have switched to enamel for
a stable income, especially with the Pelerines as steady clients for his
enameled roods.
