Hey, it's not MY religion. Obviously there's a fine line that tends to
be drawn around "proper" (and legal) and all other practices. Since only
the Autarch practices this one, you could go either way: is it a
legitimate part of a "cult of the Emperor"? or something to keep hidden
from view? or both?
Any way you slice it, it's not normal! (cue Church Lady). And worse, it
resembles (as has been said many times) pagan slanders of Church
practices. Parody or perversion, take your pick.
