I wouldn't assume that Sev is not attracted to Juturna, nor that an 
attraction is not returned. However, consummation seems 
impossible---make of that what you will.

It didn’t stop the giants in The Wizard Knight.  The converse would at least be less painful for the female involved, even if not perhaps very satisfying.
