Yeah that seems to explain the problem of the ring.  I always thought
there were two different rings and tried to figure out where the
second one came from.  I find the theory of yours pretty sound and
even if your not right at least you managed to point me to the real
puzzle.  What do you mean about Oreb leaving at the end of RttW
though?
