Once I found a dead cat on a winter road - a cat killed by car, pressed
flat and frozen,
with intestines around.
I felt that I have to take it off and give it a more decent burial.
Believe me,
it was not pleasant or easy. Maybe I could do what Horn did - cut corpses by
sword and clean the sewer, though it would be harder. I could not be a
torturer
and executioner, like Severian. I think that they are very different, and
when you say that they are similar, it is imagination, not experience.
There is similarity, but difference is important.
