It’s not very different, surely?  The main difference is that she is not said to be transparent in the first episode, but maybe that’s because it’s brighter in the tunnel.  Besides, I don’t think she’s always transparent anyway; I don’t think it’s mentioned in other incidents.
Here he speaks and she vanishes.  In the first incident he blinks and she vanishes.  No slime, but that’s probably just the reflection of the tunnel lights.
