Oops, forgot to mention- the escape velocity inhumi would have to generate would be roughly 40,000 km/hr (25,000 mph). Now peregrine falcons have been clocked at 300 km/hr, in a dive. Those clever inhumi manage to go 100x faster in a climb. And they don't even look like they can fly as well as birds. More like bats. FWIW.
