<Sigh> She follows him around and helps him – you did notice that, I trust?  I’ve endeavoured to explain her motivations, but regardless of her motivations her actions are pretty consistent.

Since she’s clearly fascinated by and monitoring Silk, her appearance in his bedroom is absolutely no surprise.  Maybe it might surprise readers when read, but that’s just because it’s her first appearance of that kind.  We see her appear again a short time later in the tunnels.  Perhaps the bedroom appearance is to avoid an appearance of devil ex machina when she suddenly appears to help him out in the tunnels.
