James, like Spring Wind, Fish and Frog are surely mythic names. If Spring Wind= Typhon,
who might Fish and Frog refer to? In the Long Sun story Vironese nomenclature offers a
nice vehicle. Are there any characters with names that invoke amphibians?

On a perhaps unrelated topic, Remora is a kind of fish. Sort of a icky kind which latches
onto larger fish and other large sea creatures with a suction cup, feeding on the leftovers
of the meals of the larger creatures. I always got the impression this aspect was important
in the naming of this character.
