(urth) Inhumi in the Whorl

There couldn't be series of hatches in the cooling tunnels, some open to 
space, some less so? There couldn't be airlocks all over the place? It 
was built by humans---it would have needed those airlocks during 
construction. It's an asteroid.

Seriously, such matters would hardly be worth discussion by the 
characters, human or alien. One might as well expect all literary 
characters who drive cars and live in houses to always talk about 
carburetors and power tools, just because.

(Now that would be funny....)
