  Of course, Philly is not the only Philadelphia, historically. The 
Greeks had a few.

However, it doesn't seem quite on a par with the others ... it ought to 
be a literary reference, not a real one. That would be my guess.

OTOH, it's a lot like "the land of the Neighbors."
