That is not how technical criticism works. By touting your hypothesis as 
a theory, you are implicitly declaring that it has the requisite 
axiomatic, logical, and empirical support necessary to become an 
accepted part of the body of thought on the relevant subject. A person 
who disagrees with you need only produce minimal contradictory evidence 
to consign your idea to the proper station among hypotheses, 
conjectures, and assertions, whichever that may be.
