Either way that's a fair guess at a partial solution, though I 
considered a book is a more suitable place to find writing than a 
silhouette.

It's not meant to be a turnwise game as far a guessing goes, just like 
people don't have to take turns reading Wolfe's stories and figuring out 
what they mean. The person gets their turn to make a riddle by solving 
the previous one. I suppose we might decide that there needs to be some 
stopping conditions for unsolved riddles.
