Hey, my first semester roomie was from Midland! This was the same year
Baby Jessica fell down the well. I have a gaming buddy and a publisher
from the same law school.
For those playing at home, while U.T. (we write it as tu) and A&M are
big athletic rivals, in 1926 there was a half-time riot at Baylor that
resulted in the death of Charles Milo Sessums '27 the following day. The
unsupported legend is that the other cadets commandeered railstock to
transport their training artillery with the intention of leveling the
Baylor campus but were dissuaded, either by the Commandant or by Texas
Rangers felling trees across the tracks. There was a documented 4 year
cessation of play between the schools.
