He was to be the final sacrifice; no one can top sacrificing God. This
Ultimate Sacrifice paid the blood price for all sins committed and yet to
be committed by generations yet unborn, completing the older quid pro
quo-style covenants and making way for the new covenant of forgiveness,
and a personal relationship with God.
