Seriously, while your points are well taken, I have always thought I 
have observed another dynamic in operation.

There are several personality type systems in vogue, such as 
Myers-Briggs. In that system, there are Ps and Js. Briefly:

---Ps tend to seek to increase options and can analyze forever.

---Js tend to seek to decrease options and move on.

I myself tend to be balanced between these extremes. But my point is 
that true Ps and Js drive each other nuts.

I think we have a P and a few Js on this board. ;)
