It was a typo. I meant Typhon's daughter, Cilinia/Scylla. At the end of
"Return to the Whorl", Silk travels with Scylla-in-Oreb (essentially,
the last remnant of Scylla). She is in the form of a young girl. She
says she named herself Scylla after the megatherian with whom she was
conspiring against her father (the "other" [ahem] Scylla conspired with
King Minos against her city and her father, King Nisus.)
Then, big Scylla (apparently) absorbs little Scylla. So it is possible
that the did eventually become one (as the mythical Scylla's undoubtably
were as well).
