I'm gonna have to read that.  I was thinking, as I read, "hello, Allah is Yahweh" even though many don't realize it. then you mentiond the controversy of Tashian.  Sounds like great stuff. I think I only read one of those books as a kid who would not have been sensitive to the symbolic elements.
