Counting Cats in Zanzibar would receive as little or as much FX as one chose 
to receive and the story could be told in 15 minutes. The dialog could be 
converted directly to the adapted screenplay. It utilizes scifi concepts 
already well understood much of the audience, so very little exposition is 
necessary.

Perhaps a short scene could be added to dramatize the three laws of 
robotics.
