I've been keeping an eye out for that eating thing, and it is more or less
as you say.  That point would be more compelling if Silk hadn't had such a
weird relationship with food back in Long Sun.  It really could be nothing
more than Horn's appetite and tendency to get heavier fighting it out with
Silk's habit of fasting, with each having an upper hand at different times.
Then again, it could be what you say.
