angelos is Greek for messenger, but Hierogrammate was used in the 1600s 
to mean holy scribe - related, but not the same. It does however match 
someone who records the Increate's rescripts.  If Omar Khayyam's most 
famous metaphor is in play then the holy scribes are also the 
controllers of destiny, or and those who record recripts are the ones 
who *change* destinies - all very much the sort of things going on in 
the Book + Urth.
