Not only that, but the astrological deck is stacked pretty well.

See, if Christ was born in late December, he's a solar allegory.

If he was born in late August or early September, that's the source of
the virgin birth legend.

If he was born in late September, early October, then he's a
Libra--that's why people think he'll come again as a judge!

If Christ was a Pisces, that's the origin of the fish symbol. If he
was a Leo, the Lion of Judah. Aquarius?  The conversation with the
widow at the well.  Sagitarius?  Christ is depicted as a bowman in
Revelation. Aries?  Sacrificial lamb. Taurus?  Sacrificial bull, like
on Crete.  Capricorn? Sacrificial goat, obviously. Gemini?  Christ's
two natures, god and man.

I got nothing for Scorpio or Cancer. But the deck is still pretty well
stacked, isn't it?  Any system, significantly complex, can be
analogized to the zodiac.
