Besides the issues with being on the wrong continent, I think another problem is that the site is in the middle of some real mountains and a mountain range, and the House Absolute is, IIRC, on level or rolling grounds. I don't think enough millions of years have passed for the mountains to have been leveled down that far; certainly there's the question how an underground base could have survived while the very mountains have not. - -- gwern
